Circumference = 20"
Body of cap = 4 1/2"
Brim to crown = 6"
Materials:
1 skein of Classic Elite Yarns Cotton Bam Boo in #3634 Raspberry Sorbet, Lot # 1443.
Size 4, 24" circular needles
Size 3, 7" double pointed needles (4)
Stitch marker
Tapestry needle (to weave in your loose ends)
Small scissors
Pattern:
CO 110 stitches
Brim:
Place your stitch marker at the beginning of your row.
Rows 1 - 10: K2, P2 for the entire row.
Body:
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Knit
Row 3: K1, *K2tog (3 times); YO, K1 (6 times); K2tog (3 times); repeat from * until the last stitch, K1
Row 4: Knit
Crown:
Switch over to size 3 DPNs
Row 1: *K2tog, K11, SSK; repeat from * until the end of row.
Row 2: Knit (Do the same for all even number of rows)
Row 3: *K2tog, K9, SSK; repeat from * until the end of row.
Row 5: *K2tog, K7, SSK; repeat from * until the end of row.
Row 7: *K2tog, K5, SSK; repeat from * until the end of row.
Row 9: *K2tog, K3, SSK; repeat from * until the end of row.
Row 11: *K2tog, K1, SSK; repeat from * until the end of row.
Row 13: *K1, SSK; repeat from * until the end of row.
Row 15: SSK for the entire row.
Row 16: repeat Row 15
Bind off and weave in your loose ends.
